Great idea to cut congestion, pollution and help clear the arteries at the same time! Undertaken by Decaux so I suspect also ad-funded. Great example of Branded Utility or Advertools.

Oh dear. Great (and evidently successful) marketing idea, but somewhat depressing given the product in question.

Another article about “[Insert Tactic] as the new Broadcast TV”. I agree in-store is a crucial part of the purchase cycle to leverage - and Out of Home may soon be the only “mass” media left, but TV in store is viewed and consumed in a different way to TV at home. More of a case of “and” than “or” in my view.

From 2005 to 2006, HeadOn grew 234%, TV advertising is taking the credit. Their CMO thinks its all about “recall” (even of a bad ad), which in his category it might be.(tags: advertising effectiveness)
