The well-intentioned Cavemen series on ABC (spun off from the Geico commercial) unfortunately didn’t do so well. Ad industry scuttlebutt suggests that the original Joe Lawson script was watered down by Hollywood writers so as to be unrecognizable. Heavy sampling of the first show is not expected to hold up. Whatever happens I salute the Martin Agency and Geico for a brave effort. UPDATE: Cavemen did indeed dip, by 24%. Hockey stick effect anyone?

Interesting (and highly plagiarizable) article from Dan Taylors’s Fabric of Folly.

An unusally positive article about Second Life from PSFK! A psychiatrist from the University of California recently developed a Second Life psych ward to give caregivers a better understanding of schizophrenia.
