As of last Friday 11/28, you can rest, relax and sip a cup of illy espresso in the temporary Push Button House cafe that the Trieste, Italy-based illycaffè has installed in the Time Warner Center.
With the push of a button, the house opens in 90 seconds like a flower and transforms from a compact container into a fully furnished and functional space. All materials used are recyclable or recycled.
I have long been an admirer of Illy’s experiential marketing – starting with Galeria Illy in SoHo. Great to see they are embracing the container/ recycling zeitgeist and making an equally cool pop-up store.
Evan Carmichael’s lists his Top 50 for 2008. For some reason my humble blog did not make the cut 😉
