Urban Spam, Generation V, Social Media at 50 (%)

  • Outdoor advertising is a “fast growing category” (incisive commentary or what?), not just billboards, but increasingly, publicity stunts that often go awry. On the positive side, people do seem to like some of the offerings … the glass elevator that was done up to look like a giant Oreo dunking into a glass of milk, for example. Below is Chevrolet’s billboard made entirely of pennies. Evidently it was picked clean in 30 minutes.
